Apple Corporations today announced more than a new IPhone, but that they are also trying to take over the gaming world. After a huge letdown for most of the world with no new IPhone 5, but an improvement on the IPhone 4 model, new Apple CEO, Tim Cook, announced that the IPod Touch is now the leading the portable gamers world too. Phil Schiller, Apple's Senior Vice President of Worldwide Product Marketing, touched on this also. "Not only is it the most popular music player in the world, but we're excited to announce it's now also the most popular portable game player in the world,"
Although Apple didn't put up the numbers for this, I believe it. I see people playing their Angry Birds or Plants vs Zombies all the time in libraries, class, or even walking down the street. It makes me not want to even look at my PSP I got in 9th grade. Maybe it's the ability to listen to my own music during games, or if it's the amazing portablility of the IPod, but all other portable video game makers should beware, Apple is only getting better. (If you are talking about gaming, and not the IPhone 4$)
